In December, 2010 I graduated with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). CIIS is an American Psychological Association-accredited school with a history of combining Eastern and Western philosophies. Additionally, I have eight years of clinical experience, providing psychotherapy at a variety of settings, including a dual diagnosis residential treatment facility, a community clinic, a nationally recognized hospital and a forensic agency contracted by the Federal Government. Currently, I am a psychologist at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, specifically providing therapeutic services for their Tobacco Treatment Program.
My doctoral dissertation explores the most effective and efficient ways to work with and treat the dual diagnosis population. |
